Celtic FC : the history
Celtic Football Club, commonly known as Celtic FC or simply Celtic, is one of the most prestigious and popular football clubs in Scotland. Founded in 1887 in Glasgow, the club has become one of the most important institutions in world football. Its traditional green and white hoops are instantly recognizable and symbolize a club with a unique sporting, cultural, and social identity. Celtic has long been associated with Glasgow's Irish Catholic community, a connection that has played a significant role in shaping the club's history.
The club was established by Brother Walfrid with charitable aims, seeking to support disadvantaged families within the local community. From its earliest years, Celtic quickly emerged as one of Scotland's leading football clubs, attracting growing support and building a tradition that would endure for generations.
Throughout the twentieth century, Celtic became one of the dominant forces in Scottish football. Numerous league titles and domestic cup victories strengthened the club's reputation and established it as one of Europe's most respected football institutions. Its ability to remain competitive across different eras is one of the defining features of its history.
The greatest achievement in the club's history came in 1967, when Celtic won Europe's premier club competition. That legendary team, remembered as the "Lisbon Lions," became the first British side ever to lift the continent's most prestigious trophy. The triumph in Lisbon remains one of the greatest moments in Scottish sporting history and the pinnacle of Celtic's football legacy.
Throughout its history, Celtic has been a regular participant in major European competitions, facing many of the strongest clubs on the continent. These experiences have enhanced its international reputation and helped build a global fan base that stretches far beyond Scotland.
Among the most iconic players in the club's history are Jimmy Johnstone, widely regarded as Celtic's greatest-ever player, Billy McNeill, the legendary captain of the Lisbon Lions, Kenny Dalglish, who later became one of Britain's most celebrated footballers, and Henrik Larsson, one of the most beloved and prolific strikers ever to wear the green and white shirt. Other important figures include Paul McStay, Tommy Burns, Danny McGrain, Scott Brown, and many other players who helped shape the club's remarkable legacy.
Home matches are played at the famous Celtic Park, affectionately known as "Paradise" by supporters. With one of the largest capacities in the United Kingdom, the stadium is regarded as one of Europe's most iconic football venues and is renowned for its extraordinary atmosphere.
The club's greatest rivalry is with Rangers in the famous Old Firm derby. This fixture is one of the most intense and widely known rivalries in world football, rooted in historical, cultural, religious, and social differences. Matches between the two clubs attract global attention and rank among the most significant events in the football calendar.
In recent years, Celtic has continued to enjoy major domestic success while maintaining a regular presence in European competitions. Investment in youth development and respect for the club's traditions remain central pillars of its long-term vision.
Thanks to its extraordinary history, remarkable achievements, legendary players, and passionate supporters, Celtic FC is regarded as one of the most influential clubs in world football and continues to proudly represent the city of Glasgow and Scotland.

Printing Errors in Stickers and Trading Cards: When a Flaw Can Make All the Difference
In the world of sticker and sports trading card collecting, printing errors are among the most fascinating aspects of the hobby. However, it's important to dispel a common myth: not every rare sticker owes its value to a production mistake. In many cases, rarity is the result of limited print runs, uneven distribution, or specific production circumstances. Over the years, publishers?Panini above all?have had to correct numerous mistakes before or during the distribution of their collections. The most common examples include:
From Homeless to Millionaire Thanks to a Trading Card: The Incredible Story of Damian Olivera-Bergallo
The world of sports card collecting is full of remarkable stories, but few are as extraordinary as that of Damian Olivera-Bergallo. After emigrating to the United States and facing extreme financial hardship, he managed to build a fortune through football trading cards—especially those featuring Lionel Messi. While living in his car and working odd jobs as a dishwasher and Uber driver, Damian came across a bag containing a collection of vintage football trading cards. He decided to spend his last €200 to buy it, unaware that the purchase would completely change his life.
INTERVIEW DAVIDE CRANCHI : M.F.A. MAGAZINE
My name is Davide Cranchi, and throughout my life I have always believed in one very simple principle: that true projects are not created merely to occupy a space, but to leave a mark. I am an Italian entrepreneur living in Taiwan, but before that, I am a person who loves to build bridges where others see only distance. Bridges between cultures, between people, between worlds that may appear far apart, yet which, once they find the right language, discover that they are able to move in the same direction. Over the course of my journey, I have brought to life different ventures, all united by the same vision: to create value, create connections, and create the future. On one side

My parents and grandparents would often buy me a pack of stickers after school or when I was well-behaved
INTERVIEW - COLLECT IT DUO
Collectibles CardsGuru (Alberto & Arnaldo), Pavia, @collectibles.cardsguru.
NEW INTERVIEW : GOAL GRAIL GALLERY
My nickname is @goalgrailgallery on Instagram. I'm an Italian living abroad, deeply passionate about football. My collecting goal is to act like an archaeologist, unearthing early and rare cards of the greatest football players throughout history. I have also published my personal list of the key players of each decade, from the 1950s onward, and I try to collect all these greats. I started collecting many years ago. My love affair with football began in 1994, when I watched my first match ? it was love at first sight. Since then, I have spent 30 years following football: watching, writing about it, and, recently, collecting memorabilia. In the 1990s, I built a solid collection of Panini Calciatori albums with my father; we even ordered some earlier editions together. My collecting journey kicked off around 1994?95, then it restarted a couple of years ago.

Al Jugela, South Carolina, USA. I collect more than 500 players whom I believe were among the best of their eras and/or countries from the inception of the game through modern days. I started collecting soccer stickers and cards around 2008 as I have always love the sport (and played it as well). My other collecting interests were nearing and "end" (nearly complete), so it was a natural progression for my collecting.
INTERVIEW : GIANNI BELLINI
