Goodbye Gianluca: it all started at Cremonese!

The whole football world and beyond is still mourning the loss of Gianluca Vialli. A player loved all over the world but especially by Italians and English supporters since he left a big mark in both leagues.

His career went on at Sampdoria in Seria A , where he played till 1992 making over 200 appearances and Juventus, where he was captain during their amazing Champions League campaign, before landing to Chelsea in the Premier Leauge, in the very unusual role of player-manager !

He took part in two World Cups 1986 and 1990 making 59 appearances and scoring 16 goals.



During his spell at Chelsea he helped the Blues to get a League Cup, a Uefa Cup Winners' Cup and a Uefa Super Cup. The whole Social Media Football world paid tribute to the Legend of Gianluca Vialli.
