NEW INTERVIEW: ROSEGOL COLECCIONES

1. INTRODUCE YOURSELF . (NAME,SURNAME,LOCATION,SOCIAL MEDIA ALIAS NAME/ALSO WORDS ABOUT YOUR PROJECT)

My name is Mathías Roselló, a.k.a Rosegol Colecciones, I'm 28 years old and I'm from Montevideo, Uruguay. My principal social media is Instagram, but I would like to start new challenges in YouTube and, maybe, TikTok. Anyway if you want to start following my proyect, the first step is on Instagram @rosegol_colecciones.

The principal subject of my content is find good stories through sports collections (mainly football, soccer), stickers, etc.

2. WHEN DID YOU START COLLECTING AND HOW/WHY?

I think that it was at school, Germany 2006 Panini Album Sticker, but I remember that one of my first albums, that unfortunately I lost, was in 2001 when my father brings me the Uruguayan League album. Then I follow with this passion that grows in the last two or three years.




3. WHAT ARE YOUR MOST VALUABLE ITEMS ? NAME ONE WITH SENTIMENTAL VALUE AND ONE WITH MONEY VALUE.

I don't know to say which is the most money value item that I have, because I'm not interested in that. But I have a Neymar Jr. card autographed, for example. And sentimental? is a nice question. Can I take it for homework? In my opinion if the story is weirder, better for me.


4. HOW MUCH DO YOU SPEND IN STICKERS/CARDS WEEKLY/MONTHLY/YEARLY ?

I don't have a specific budget, but some time is much more that I should be spent hahahaha. Currently it is a little bit more because we have three collections at the same time: FIFA Club World Cup (stickers and Adrenalyn) and CONMEBOL Libertadores 2025 stickers.


5. WHICH TEAM DO YOU SUPPORT ?

To be 100% genuine, I'm a Olimpia fan that it is an historic basketball team here in Uruguay and I support the Uruguayan Football National Team, with more strength after FIFA Club World Cup South-Africa 2010.




6. NAME YOUR FAVOURITE INSTAGRAM, TIK TOK AND X(TWITTER) ACCOUNTS, BESIDES YOURS!

If I have the chance, please let me thank and stand out some people who were really important to decide launch my proyect: Exon de la Torre (@exon_delatorre / exonmania), Colecciones Argentina (@coleccionesargentina, currently with @lasfigusdelbicho user because they have a lot valuable Argentinos Juniors stickers and collections). Both accounts were the real inspiration for been here.

Fortunately the road allow find good friends that have the same interests and is healthy as one, and not want only earn money with collecting, so let me name Paulo (@lapillud), Santi Izaguirre (@cromoscollections), La Tripleta (@latripleta.tcg), and several more that shape a nice community in Argentina. Here in Uruguay we're less brave people, but it is a good opportunity to greet and thank Nacho Episcopo (@vieja_bohemia), Esteban Bonetto (@cardsandstickers.uy), Agustín Gorriz (@caudillo_colecciones), Sebastián Araújo (@charruacards), Diego Brum (@mil.colecciones), Diego Rabelino (@drabelino) and Hugo Rocha (@majestickers.ofc), a Brazilian adopted by Uruguay. I hope I haven't forgotten anyone.


7. HOW DO YOU SEE THE FUTURE OF THE "HOBBY"?

If we really love collect, we have to save the value of the physical over the virtual. And also to make us feel, as buyers, that the products become better and better.



8. DID YOU EVER TAKE PART IN ANY FOOTBALL STICKERS/CARDS FAIR ? IF YES, WHICH ONE ? DO YOU HAVE A FAIR YOU REALLY WANT TO GO TO ?

I went two times to La Coleccionista in Argentina. A fantastic event that I really want to replicate, of course in a minor scale, here in Uruguay. We will achieve it, without a doubt.

9. WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE BRAND (PANINI/TOPPS/UPPER DECK/ETC.) ? AND COLLECTION ?

I don't know if it is my favourite brand, but Panini is the principal brand in my collection, it is a matter of logic I think.


10. WHAT DO YOU THINK OF STICKERSONE.COM ?

It is a great reference site for collectors. I use it a lot to search for players in checklists, for example.
