1. PRESENTATI !

Ciao sono Alessandro e nella mia pagina instagram e sul mio canale youtube GomTales parlo di figurine e cards sportive. Curiosità, aneddoti e un buon sano spacchettamento sono il giusto mix per continuare a coltivare e a condividere questa fantastica passione.

1. INTRODUCE YOURSELF.

Hi, I'm Alessandro and I talk about sports stickers and cards on my Instagram page and on my YouTube channel GomTales. Curiosity, anecdotes and a good healthy unpacking are the right mix to continue cultivating and sharing this fantastic passion.

2. QUANDO HAI INIZIATO A COLLEZIONARE E PERCHE'?

Collezionare? Sicuramente dagli anni 90 come tutti i bambini della mia età! Una volta usciti da scuola l'edicola era tappa fissa (soprattutto se avevi portato a casa dei bei voti! E per fortuna alle elementari ero anche bravo!). Ma è dal 2019 che la passione è rinata grazie a un collega di lavoro che mi ha introdotto in questo mondo ma, soprattutto, grazie alla nascita del mio primogenito. Subito ho quindi preso album Calciatori 2019/20 per poter così consegnarglielo a lui quando sarà il momento giusto (come d'altronde tutta la mia collezione che via via sta diventando davvero interessante!) e tramandare ? spero ? questa passione. Nel 2021 ho quindi deciso di mettermi in gioco e condividere con il web il bello del collezionismo sfruttando le figurine per raccontare storie e passioni su questo mondo!

2. WHEN DID YOU START COLLECTING AND HOW/WHY?

Collecting? Definitely from the 90s like all children of my age! The newsstand was a regular stop once I was out of school  (especially if you got good grades! And luckily I was good at school!). But it was in 2019 that the passion was reborn thanks to a work-colleague who introduced me to this world but, above all, thanks to the birth of my first child. I immediately got the 2019/20 Calciatori album so I could give it to him when the time was right (like my entire collection which is gradually becoming really interesting!) and pass on - I hope - this passion. In 2021 I therefore decided to get involved and share on internet the beauty of collecting by using stickers to tell stories and passions about this world!



3) QUALI SONO LE FIGURINE/CARDS CHE POSSIEDI CON IL VALORE PIU' ALTO ?

Generalmente nella mia collezione prediligo aggiungere figurine rispetto a cards seppur la caccia all'autografo (soprattutto in maglia Juventus) è sempre dietro l'angolo. A livello economico credo che la figurina con il più alto valore sia la Maradona 1979/80, la storica figurina Panini in maglia Argentina e una dei miei primi obiettivi collezionistici. Ma non posso non citare figurine come Bolchi 1961/62, la rookie di Mbappe e.. Pizzaballa 1963/64. Quest'ultima infatti è la figurina con il più alto valore sentimentale visto che sono riuscito ad incontrarlo e farmela firmare di persona! A livello di cards senza ombra di dubbio l'autografo Topp Lost Rookie /25 di Zidane credo sia una delle più costose (sicuramente è stata la card che ho pagato maggiormente rispetto ad altre).

3. WHAT ARE YOUR MOST VALUABLE ITEMS ?

Generally,I prefer to add stickers rather than cards in my collection even though the hunt for an autograph (especially in a Juventus shirt) is always around the corner. Value wise , I believe that the sticker with the highest value is the 1979/80 Maradona, the historic Panini sticker in the Argentina shirt and one of my first collecting goals. But I must mention stickers like Bolchi 1961/62, Mbappe's rookie and Pizzaballa 1963/64. In fact, the latter is the sticker with the highest sentimental value since I managed to meet him and have it signed in person! In terms of cards, without a shadow of a doubt, Zidane's Topp Lost Rookie /25 autograph is one of the most expensive (it was certainly the card I paid more than others).

4) QUANTO SPENDI IN FIGURINE/CARDS OGNI SETTIMANA/MESE/ANNO ?

La spesa siamo intorno ai 300 euro al mese circa. Dipende poi spesso dal mese e dagli eventuali affari che si riescono a fare durante quel mese ma via via con l'esperienza si arriva a spendere il giusto e non spendere soldi a caso seguendo mode o consigli sbagliati. Sono più un collezionista che rivenditore quindi accumulo veramente molto materiale che spero poi via via di liberarmene (se non più di interesse) per pagarmi ovviamente altri pezzi o prodotti da portare anche sui miei canali social!

4. HOW MUCH DO YOU SPEND IN STICKERS/CARDS
WEEKLY/MONTHLY/YEARLY ?

I spend around 300 euros per month. It often depends on the month and on any deals I manage to make during that month but gradually with experience you get to spend the right amount and not spend money randomly following wrong trends or advice. I'm more of a collector than a reseller so I really accumulate a lot of material which I hope to gradually get rid of (if not more interested in) to obviously pay for other pieces or products to bring to my social channels!



5) PER QUALE SQUADRA TIFI ?

Juventus! Anche se da piccolo avevo un kit con maglia e cappello.. con treccine di Gullit! Poi scelte mi han portato a tifare bianconero! Seguo anche un po' la Carrarese, squadra della mia città, finalmente tornata quest'anno in Serie B dopo più di 70 anni! Di entrambe le squadre ovviamente faccio tematica con la speranza di poter avere tutte le loro figurine Calciatori Panini ? e per fortuna non sono messo così tanto male!

5. WHICH TEAM DO YOU SUPPORT ?

Juventus! Even though when I was little I had a kit with a shirt and hat... with Gullit braids! Then choices led me to support Juventus! I also follow Carrarese a bit, the team from my city which finally returned to Serie B this year after more than 70 years! Obviously I'm making the topic of both teams in the hope of being able to have all their Panini footballer stickers - and luckily I'm not doing that bad at all !

Instagram /Youtube non posso che citare Simone Collector e Stickheadz per i loro contenuti legati alle figurine. Per il mondo cards seguo sempre con piacere CardsGuru, RookieTalk e SportyCards... Sempre nel mondo collezionistico se ampliamo il genere e non ci limitiamo solamente alle figurine e cards cito Italian Jersey Collector ma dovrei citarne veramente troppi! Ogni giorno ? per fortuna ? sbucano fuori nuovi content creator e la cosa non può che fare bene al mondo Hobby (sperando che trasmettano info corrette!).

X(TWITTER) ACCOUNTS, BESIDES YOURS !

Instagram /Youtube I can only mention Simone Collector and Stickheadzfor their content related to stickers. For the world of cards I always follow CardsGuru, RookieTalk and SportyCards with pleasure...If we broaden the genre and don't limit ourselves only to stickers and cards I mention Italian Jersey Collector but I should mention too many! Everyday - fortunately - new content creators emerge and this can only be good for the Hobby world (hoping that they transmit correct information!)

7) COME VEDI IL FUTURO "HOBBY" ?

Il futuro è già oggi: onestamente in Italia siamo ancora molto indietro se si intende il mondo Hobby all'Americana. Siamo acerbi e la cosa si nota parecchio se ci approcciamo e apriamo gli occhi verso l'estero. In Italia però stiamo crescendo e negli ultimi anni c'è stato un vero e proprio boom che ha portato tantissime persone di tutte le età ad entrare in questo mondo (sia per fine collezionistico che per guadagnarci sopra!). Ora come ora le cards del mondo hobby sicuramente hanno superato le figurine per quanto riguarda la richiesta dell'utente medio che rimangono comunque la mia priorità sia per gusto personale che per idea differente di collezionismo (ma ovviamente colleziono anche card, soprattutto firmate Juventus e campioni!

7. HOW DO YOU SEE THE FUTURE OF THE "HOBBY" ?

The future is today: honestly in Italy we are still far behind if we compare ourselves to the American hobby world. We are immature and this is very noticeable if we approach and open our eyes towards foreign countries. However we are growing and in recent years there has been a real boom that has led many people of all ages to enter this world (both for collecting and to earn money!). Right now, cards from the hobby world have certainly surpassed trading cards in terms of demand from the average user which still remains my priority both for personal taste and for a different idea of ??collecting (but obviously I also collect cards, especially signed Juventus and champions!)

8) HAI MAI PARTECIPATO A FIERE/EVENTI DI FIGURINE E CARDS ? SE SI, QUALI? VORRESTI VISITARE QUALCHE EVENTO IN PARTICOLARE IN FUTURO ?

Assolutamente si! Sia da semplice visitatore che da venditore presso il primo cardshow italiano che si è tenuto a Milano lo scorso anno! Mi piace molto girare per gli stand e cercare qualche figurina che mi manca o semplicemente che mi piacerebbe aggiungere in collezione. Bologna è tappa fissa almeno 1 volta all'anno! E spero di poter visita la fiera di Asti! Comunque anche quest'anno sarò presente al CollecIt a Milano il 2/3 maggio quindi passatemi a salutare per conoscerci e scambiare qualche parola!

8. DID YOU EVER TAKE PART IN ANY FOOTBALL
STICKERS/CARDS FAIR ? IF YES, WHICH ONE ? DO YOU
HAVE A FAIR YOU REALLY WANT TO GO TO ?

Absolutely yes! Both as a simple visitor and seller at the first Italian cardshow which was held in Milan last year! I really like going around the stands and looking for some stickers that I'm missing or simply that I'd like to add to the collection. Bologna is a fixed stop at least once a year! And I hope to be able to visit the Asti fair! However, this year too I will be present at Collec.It in Milan on 2/3 May so stop by and say hello to get to know each other and exchange a few words!



9) QUAL E' IL TUO BRAND PREFERITO (PANINI,TOPPS,UPPERDECK,ETC) E PERCHE' ? E LA TUA COLLEZIONE PREFERITA ?

Panini e Topps si stanno dividendo equamente il monopolio del mondo collezionistico. Si sono aggiunti nuovi brand (sia nel mondo stickers che cards) ma per il momento sono sicuramente secondari a questi due colossi. Panini sicuramente è più una scelta del cuore: le emozioni che hanno suscitato in me sin da piccolo non sono cambiate! Topps invece punta molto di più al futuro (o almeno così mi sembra da ormai diversi anni). Ho la fortuna e il piacere di portar sul canale prodotti di entrambi i brand e onestamente sfornano entrambi buoni prodotti (con ovviamente difetti da migliorare!). Se devo scegliere.. dico Figurine Panini.. ma avete in mente com'è bello l'album Mexico 70!? Ecco questa è la mia collezione preferita (e purtroppo ancora non nelle mie mani! Magari un giorno...).

9. WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE BRAND (PANINI/TOPPS/UPPER
DECK/ETC.) ? AND COLLECTION ?

Panini and Topps are equally dividing the monopoly of the collecting world. New brands have been added (both in the world of stickers and cards) but for the moment they are certainly secondary to these two giants. Panini is certainly more a choice of the heart: the emotions they aroused in me since I was little have not changed! Topps, on the other hand, is aiming much more towards the future (or at least that's how it seems to me for several years now). I have the fortune and pleasure of bringing products from both brands to the channel and honestly they both churn out good products (with obviously flaws that need improvement!). If I have to choose.. I say Panini Stickers.. do you have in mind how beautiful the Mexico 70 album is!? That is my favourite collection (and unfortunately not yet in my hands! Maybe someday...).

10) COSA PENSI DI STICKERSONE.COM ?

Piattaforma interessante. Piacevole da vedere e da utilizzare rispetto ad altri competitors rimasti forse un po' indietro rispetto alle nuove tecnologie. Un grande lavoro che spero possa via via prendere piede tra tutti i collezionisti dai più giovani ai "meno giovani".

10. WHAT DO YOU THINK OF STICKERSONE.COM ?

Interesting platform. Pleasant to look at and easy to use compared to other competitors who are perhaps a little behind in terms of new technologies. A great work that I hope will gradually gain ground among all collectors, from the youngest ones to the "not so young".
